Servicing Ops Management System (SOMS)
Toshiba Data Dynamics has thousands of copiers nationwide to be serviced by a team of technicians. This project involves designing and developing a Web and Mobile based application to digitize and eliminate the manual and paper-based ways of capturing servicing operations information by servicing technicians out in the field.
Technicians get real-time servicing jobs pushed down to their tablets and completes all servicing data updates electronically. Servicing report reaches the client’s email address even before the technicians step out of the client’s office!
Management gets to view the real-time map-based location and servicing status of servicing technicians anywhere, anytime with the use of cloud-based infrastructure with Internet-facing system interface.
Android and NFC technologies are being employed in this project.
