Mobile Inspection Record System

Quality Power Management (QPM) has an expanding list of more than 1,500 licenses for serving and maintenance switchgears and transformers. This project involves the full customization of QPM's inspection operations from paper-based to mobile forms with web backend management. Inspectors make use of tablets to conduct their numerous inspections within a day. At the tap of the submit button after an inspection is done, the inspection reports are generated and sent to QPM management and the client for review.

This solution saved QPM a large number of man-hours every month. The previous man-hours spent in collating inspection findings, records and photographs before being able to manually prepare the reports to be sent for review and approval are all but eliminated with this automated solution. This solution also enabled QPM to improve their productivity with more inspections able to be conducted, thereby improving throughput and revenue.
